Supreme Court of Canada
If people are still not satisfied with a judge's or jury's decisions, they may appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada in Ottawa. This is the highest court in Canada. Judges in the Supreme Court can decide to hear the appeal or not. The judges may agree with the decision of the lower appeal court (such as the Appeal Court of BC), or they may make a different decision.
Citizenship Court of Canada
This court examines all applications for Canadian citizenship. The judges of the Citizenship Court may interview landed immigrants who apply to become Canadian citizens. The Citizenship Court has citizenship ceremonies for new Canadians.
